To me…when I first saw the Yves Saint Laurent Muse Two in store,

my heart fell down to the ground.

I know why Muse Two will be the “it” bag from YSL.

There is many Kelly style bags but that neutral colours paletted with such a strong colours… that work amazingly on with such a lady shape.

30 Years of Japanese Fashion at Barbican

December 13th, 2010 -

This is the first exhibition in Europe to comprehensively survey avant-garde Japanese fashion, from the early 1980s to the present. Curated by the eminent Japanese fashion historian Akiko Fukai, Director of the Kyoto Costume Institute, the exhibition explores the unique sensibility of Japanese design, and its sense of beauty embodied in clothing.

As usual when I think about Japanese i think in unshaped clothes, unflattering silouettes and strange materials… well, no disappointment met my expectations. This exhibitions translates you from a fashion forward moment that we all live at surrounded by mass factored brands to the new era of haute-couture eccentricity.  The twenty-two featured designers are less known as Anrealage, Somarta, Né-Net… to some of the best known as Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, Junya Watanabe.

which I certenly would recommend to anyone aiming to unfold  and unlock their creativity with this exercise of extreme inspiration.

for which Janek Schaefer composed an installation score at the invitation of Barbican curator.

“Unfolding was inspired by the ephemeral unfurling fabric of fashion, viewed through the vertical veils of the Future Beauty exhibition design.”

Cartier Love

Cartier Store at Old Bond St. London

Cartier Trinity Sauvage

Trinity stori was introduced by Cartier as wedding-band ring, along with bracelet, in 1924 under the heading, “The New Jewelry from Cartier,” a 20s Vogue magazine ad. Today this design stills amazingly chic and modern.

The Trinity Sauvage features one leopard printed band , one studded with diamonds, and one engraved with the Cartier insignia. Re-design in 2010 as tribute to Jean Cocteau’s original piece.

Cartier Panthère

Introduced in 1914, the motif,  was inspired by Louis Cartier’s fellow jeweler Jeanne Toussaint, who was nicknamed the Panther. Style icons as Chloë Sevigny and Rachel Zoe claimed this to be her favorite piece.

Cartier Santos 100 xl Watch

This is my favourite watch ever. Made of 18kt rose gold octagonal crown set with a multifaceted black rubber piece which blows this watch into a perfect level of richness and modernity.

Time time time
Make time, give time, take time out
Win time, cost time, the time of your life
Spend time, sell time, the good times and the bad
Kill time, zero time, all the time in the world

Time watch, time travel, time to begin
Time table, time square, can I fit you in
Time frame, time to go, time that you grew up
But tell me…
How do you feel?

Shaun William Hayes

Seguramente con este reloj de Hermès el tiempo solo puede pasar a nuestro alrededor.
